Hi! I’m Clovis, a 25-year-old composer and Auckland School of Music student. I’m trying to raise funds for a trip to Paris to take part in a huge arts festival, IRCAM’s Manifeste-Academie 2013, which takes place from June 17-30 this year.

Out of a pool of 248 applicants worldwide, I am one of just 42 to be selected to participate in the festival, and one of five composers to have been selected to take part in their exclusive Electro-acoustic Repertoire Interpretation workshop.

But flights, accommodation and expenses don't come cheap - that's why your help would be so greatly appreciated.

This is such a great opportunity for me to represent New Zealand music at a prestigious international event which attracts world renowned composers. The Pompidou Centre in Paris is an international centre for sonic arts, which is the branch of composition I'm majoring in at university. The experiences I would gain from this trip would be invaluable!

My total budget for flights, accommodation, per diem and materials is $9405, so ANY help you can give me would be amazing and hugely appreciated. Thank you!
