My name is Caterina Poletti and I have grown up in the beautiful Taranaki. Living on the coastline I have fallen in love with everything the sea and the outdoors offers.

My Dad sadly passed away in 2019 after losing the fight to bowel cancer which had spread around the rest of his body. We struggled to afford his treatment which is where the Cancer Society stepped in and helped out.

I have created this brand to help fundraise for the Cancer Society to help give families hope that they can overcome cancer.

The daffodil symbolises the glowing optimism my Dad had for his future health and that he could one day be surfing and hiking the hills along side me. It is also the flower that represents the Cancer Society itself. Salty Drifterz is part of who I am and where I am from.

Thank you so much for helping me raise funds for Daffodil day. We will fight cancer together; as Dad would say with “one foot in front of the other”.

There are four designs with each hoodie, tank, long sleeve, crew and tee having their own particular colours.

On the front of every garment is a daffodil 'Salty Drifterz' logo which brings us all together not matter what design you choose.
