I am running for Mayor of Wellington! I believe strong action rather than empty statements are needed to fix our most pressing problems, which I see as housing affordability, our broken transport system and climate change.
I need your help - if you can volunteer, please find me on Facebook. Also, the campaign will have some costs. We need:
$2500 for advertising
$2500 for flyers and billboards
$1000 for creative input, kai for our volunteers, and assorted bits and bobs.
NB: By law, all donations to election campaigns must be collated by the candidate in a report to the Wellington City Council. You are welcome to click 'anonymous donation' when you pledge so that your name is not listed on the public PledgeMe campaign page. However, please be aware that PledgeMe will report all pledges to a candidate's campaign for inclusion in the candidate's report to the Wellington City Council.
