Project 2012-02-03 02:03:22 +1300
"If something is worth doing, it's worth doing well." An English proverb that suits us well too, we think.
This Pledge Me crowdfunding venture is our first foray into anything of its sort, and it's always a fair question for someone who may be looking for a decent project, to ask: "Why should I give you my hard-earned dosh, and what will you do with it?"
The answer is actually easy: You should fund us for the same reasons that our amazing cast and creative team have signed on. They loved the story and our idea.
So you don't need to take our word for it, because the talent of our team speaks far more eloquently than any sales pitch. Go to our Idle Dandies Entertainment production blog (see our link) and check us out. These world class, talented artists have all said "Yes," to joining our team, and we couldn't be more excited. http://idledandies.com/
But we still can't make this happen without your funding. Please take a look at our creative team and our cast.
They are all working professionals and we cannot make them work at their best for free; we have already won them with our idea and script for the project but now we have to start the production.
This money is for Production Design and Costume Design: armour, stunt weapons, props, costumes, fabrics, sewing.
After this pledge you will see us again, telling you how we are doing and presenting you with our next step.
Together, with your help, we can create something magnificent.

Hi Pledgers, just a quick note, because the news came in yesterday. We didn't get short listed for funding from Premiere Shorts this year. Rats. Oh well, we have other plans up our collective sleeve, so now we get back to work. Vera is 1 year old now, so the light is brightening in the dark pit of early parenthood. We can start to climb out of it.
Any questions can be asked on our Facebook page, and we will shortly begin to fulfill a few credits that we owe on Facebook as well.
Back soon, and much more regularly!
Ben.
