Hi all.

We need a bit of a helping hand please completing ZOFS Karavan Kafe and making it the most awesome, amazing place to sit back, grab a bite to eat and just chillax, after hubby suffered a brain hemorrhage trying to apprehend service station robbers.

ZOFS Karavan Kafe is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Southern Alps, on the Inland Scenic Route (SH72) of the Canterbury Plains, in the township of Mayfield.

It's a stunning drive for tourists and locals alike, with many using it as a gateway to Lake Tekapo, Queenstown & Wanaka. It's a short distance from Ashburton, Methven & Geraldine, and Mayfield is home to the hugely popular Overflow, if you enjoy a trip down memory lane.

ZOFS is already well underway,but has experienced a bit of a hiccup with what happened. The ZOFS vision is the well loved Kiwi tradition of the Karavan Kafe,set in a kid friendly, pet friendly outdoor landscaped area. With a huge roofed pergola,which in Winter will be like a snuggly warm greenhouse, a kids corner, an arts/crafts display, fresh vege and of course the specially built food caravan that will sell a selection of yummy food,coffee,and cold drinks.

ZOFS will be a special place.

Any money raised will go towards completing ZOFS unique outdoor setting.
Originally we had a new loan arranged designated for the food caravan,but after what happened I had to redirect funds intended for the setting,and put them towards the caravan instead. If money raised goes beyond the goal,that will be put towards finishing off the arts/crafts display,historical/cultural information boards,the fresh vege cart,and generally just making ZOFS more awesome!
ZOFS is a family owned small business.Our family is large,but opening the business especially means so much for our special son Jake,who faces life challenges. He can't wait to help in the Karavan Kafe,and has non stop suggestions on what we can sell,even if some of them are a little off the mark.
To say thank you to all our supporters I'd like to give back the best rewards I can.

Great for Xmas presents,motor home travelers,day trippers from Christchurch,Timaru, and beyond,as well as locals wanting a great place to just hang out and relax.
