I wish to start a contract driving firm, trying to get younger people into truck driving as well as continuing driving myself and helping the young ones understand what it’s like. I have done it from a young age and now own my own house and land at 29 years old. It’s a great lifestyle and as a contract driver you will get time off regularly. I need a starting point and it’s not cheap but every little bit helps. The money will be used to get around the lower north island promoting the idea with trucking firms and to also get around advertising my idea in local areas. I just need the small amount of funding to be able to do this and with the trucking firms I’ve talked to about this idea they are very interested in it.
