Help Me Draw Naked People

The short version: I'm a freelance illustrator and writer! It's awesome but doesn't pay that well! I need to get better at drawing! There's a course on that could help, and your pledges can help me afford it!

The long(ish) version, with less exclamation marks: I've been drawing ever since I was little enough to cry about colouring over the lines, and lately I've been getting a bit more serious about it (drawing, not crying.) I've been doing freelance illustration (for actual money!) in my spare time and I also came third in the AUT Creative Writing Graphic Fiction section, for my short comic Torchlight. I'm wanting to take the whole "comics" thing a bit further, but need to improve my figure drawing along the way. The only way to improve your figure drawing is to draw a bunch of naked people, and the Waikato Society of Arts has a "Drawing the Human Body" course coming up in a bit that could help. Membership to the Society is $45 and the course is $116, not including materials and the naked-people fee. I'd like to take the course, but I'm a bit skint.

In the semi-unlikely event of raising more than I need in pledges, I'll put the extra money towards art materials, more courses, and petrol to get up to Auckland to see cool comic people. Cheers!
