A book of 24 short stories written by New Zealand born writer Christodoulos Moisa.

Hi lovely people,

My aim is to raise $2000 for the printing costs of 100 copies of my 280 page (A5) book of short stories Blood and Koka Kola. With this small number of copies I will be able to reward all the people who will support this project and also have copies left over to send off for review.  The 24 stories chosen reflect a variety of themes on social, political or philosophical conundrums. Some end with a twist. I am sure that you will enjoy those stories either because they make you laugh loudly or make you think.

With many thanks,

Chris' Moisa

Something about the author and his last book:

Chris' Moisa  is an award winning poet and artist born in 1948 of Greek Cypriot immigrant parents. For further biographical details and to read some of his short stories see www.moisa-artist.com. Also see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christodoulos_Moisa

Chris' last book a poem titled THE DESERT  drew the following critical comments:

“Amazing ... This poem is excellent and so profound, very evocative of an immigrant child’s experience. New Zealand and Europe: so dissonant and yet somehow harmonious. Really resonated for me ...” - Deb Filler

“This poem is beautiful ... Real quality redolent of the sixties ... The Greek characters are infused in seamlessly ... It was a joy to read.” - Ian Sinclair

“Chris’ Moisa’s extraordinary poem ... Has taken me by surprise ... I was overwhelmed by what I read I was gripped and horrified and amused and uplifted, by my first reading - followed by a second reading that confirmed all these impressions - but more than that, I was totally bowled away by its construction. The poem is not just an amazing recounting of Chris’s life and times, it is a carefully and passionately constructed kaleidoscope in poetry of how he sees himself in historical, general, particular and imaginary circumstances, as well as how he views the world through a lens that is at moments microscopic then opens itself to the wider angles of fate, accident and juxtaposition ... The poem is a poetic memoir, a chronicle, a story of adventure and discovery, and a reflection of human experience, and on the mysteries, terrors, rewards and exaltations of all existence.”- Kevin Ireland

“I absolutely loved it and feel it has power equal to that of The Wasteland” - Carol Webb
