What is it they really don't want the public to see? Why all the secrecy?
Central Hawke's Bay District Council want me to pay $3408.60 to access official information about their secret decision to buy RWSS (Ruataniwha water storage scheme) water. They will consult with the public in February but they only want the public to hear their spin not all the facts.
The council will levy a charge on all ratepayers, whether they are supplied water or not, to buy RWSS water even though they currently get water free from the Tukituki River.
I need help to pay the invoice ($3408.60) for my official information request about this dodgy decision.
Please help to bring this information out into the open so I can assist all ratepayers make informed submissions to the public consultation process.
