Our Project:

Just Ask is a student made company taking part in Young Enterprise 2015 who are trying to provide an app (also called Just Ask) which will start off with a basic design and as time progresses it will become more advanced. The Just Ask App is an app designed to advertise to students between the ages of 15 and 19. This app will provide studying tips aimed at those who have learning preferences but can be used by anyone interested. This app should make NCEA easier for those students who struggle with studying. We are passionate about helping those with Dyslexia and other learning preferences and hope that this app can help many.

Our Team:

On our Just Ask team is 5 girls from Samuel Marsden Collegiate School in Wellington. We are all year 12 Girls taking part in the Young Enterprise Scheme this year (2015). Starting in February we have had to come up with our product or service and develop and produce it. While struggling NCEA Level 2 and having to keep up with our Enterprise Timeline we haev managed to get through the stuggles and now we are in the final process of building and soon selling our app.

Lets introduce our team; Our CEO Summer, Marketing and Design Manager Jamie, Finance Directors Olivia (Livi) and Jade, and our Communications Manager Holly. We are all excited to have this app be made as it is something we all know people need and we want to help.

Our Budget:

The YES year is coming to a close and our team having, struggled to find an app developer, has gotten further behind everyone else. We now have a developer and are looking forward to getting this app up and running ASAP! The app is going to cost us $800 to have everything done and we would love the help from everyone out there! With $400 upfront and $400 once the app is running we hope to have this done by the 20th of September this year.
