WHAT IS OURTHINGS?
Ourthings is a website platform that allows anyone to rent anything from anyone. The easiest way to think of it is trademe, but for rental.
With community marketplaces like airbnb and the like now commonplace, we have reached a point where as a society we are much more comfortable about sharing out items. Why buy an expensive tool for a one off project, if you can rent it off someone who already has it?
Whether it be dresses for a wedding or big event, or tools to help with a big project - ourthings hopes to make life just that little bit cheaper, and the world a bit more sustainable by getting more use out of what we already have.

THE TEAM:
It's a one man band at the moment - with ourthings being operated by Jamie Twigg. Jamie's background is in law and event management, exposing him to both the logistics of running a business and the benefits of rental in events.
THE BUDGET
The goal for now is to obtain $10,000 to put directly into marketing. Once that succeeds and the concept gets up some momentum, then I'll move to an investor round on Pledgeme.
