Hey, I'm Seth Devereux. I race motorcycles, well.... when I am in one piece I do. Recently I have had a spate of injuries, a broken neck, then a dislocated hip (surgery pending) and then a broken ankle. 

However I am not one for stopping, so whilst I couldnt ride I have taken to shooting video of my sport. This coverage has widely consisted of interviews with riders but also has included promotional work, ad reels and behind the scenes videos about my favourite sport.

The problem I have is that the gear I have is pretty average for what I am trying to achieve and because the majority of my work goes unpaid and doesnt break even I cannot afford to upgrade.

I intend to continue with the work I have been doing regardless of wether I get better gear but would really like to be able to produce TV quality stuff so that it can be used for the promotion of this great sport that has absorbed my life to date.

Ultimately I'm trying to get a decent cinema camera, a stabiliser rig, an external video screen and some better mics. But for now just a decent camera and mics would be awesome.

The camera I have in mind is a BlackMagic Production 4K EF,  $3000 US plus around $1000US to get the memory cards, lenses, rig, hood, jacket etc etc. 

Then comes the external mic setup which I'd like to have a couple of lapel mics. so around $1500US there.

However the reality is that it is a lot of money so I'll set the bar at $5000NZ and try sort the rest myself.

Come on guys! Lets make Motorcycling in NZ to the masses! We have the action. We have the characters. Lets put it out there!!
