Passion, Perseverance, Perfection: Help Our Kids Get A Dance Floor They Deserve!

I run a small dance school in Tauranga which holds classes out of community halls and school halls at the moment. We are looking into leasing our own space so that we can have a purpose built studio and provide more classes for more children - this means we won't have to work around other people who also hire the halls. We try to keep our classes nice and small so we get to know the children personally and keep the costs as low as possible, we want all children to be able to dance and love the arts.

We believe that dance is beneficial for all children as it teaches them loads of important skills - improves physical health, helps improve social and communication skills, listening to instruction, giving instruction and working as a team. Dance teaches discipline and focus, skills that are useful no matter what you do. For young children, it improves self esteem, self confidence, helps with their social development and emotional maturity.

If we are to lease a space for our own studio, we need to build a dance floor. This is a huge cost as it has to be raised off the concrete so it is safe to dance on and won't cause injuries. We believe this is going to cost us about $9000 which is a huge sum of money for us to get together, if we could get some help it would be very much appreciated!!
