As reigning Australasian Champions and the top ranked global LMS cricket team, the Cow Tippers team are hoping to represent NZ at the World Championships in Barbados in Mar 2015.
In Jan 2014, the Cow Tippers competed in and won the NZ LMS National Champs which gave the team the right to represent NZ at the LMS Australasian Champsin Nov 2014 which the team subsequently won as well.
Our primary challenge on the road to Barbados and ultimate success is raising additional funds for flights and accommodation costs. In driving to this goal the team is seeking additional funding via PledgeMe to assist in getting the team to Barbados to have a go at taking away the world title which has eluded all 150 NZ LMS teams for 10 years.
Last Man Stands (LMS) is the widest reaching, fastest growing, global amateur cricket league in the world; with over 50,000 registered players and over 2,500 teams worldwide, LMS is a growing phenomenon. It is played in over 50 cities and 5 countries globally including NZ, Australia, South Africa, and the UK.
