About

Blackcat Quarterly Magazine

Project 2014-10-19 22:21:56 +1300

Blackcat Quarterly magazine will be Wellington's premiere lifestyle magazine for cats. FOR cats, but not BY cats, because cats are terrible at typing. It will feature interviews with local and international cat artists, crazy cat ladies and gentlemen, and actual cats (including the one and only Lil Bub!). It will also have fashion editorials shot by local photographers, celebrity cat news(want to know what Taylor Swift's cats are up to? Of course you do!), recipes, horoscopes, puzzles, sticker sheets, art and absolutely everything else a good magazine needs.

Blackcat quarterly will be sold online through www.blackcatquarterly.com and will also be stocked at Matchbox Gallery on Cuba Street, Wellington, the best and most cat friendly art gallery in the world!

The team putting Blackcat together is a group of Wellington-based artists, photographers, designers and illustrators. We are all united by our deep and abiding love of cats and our firm belief that there should be more reading material available to them.

We want to use this PledgeMe to fund the publishing costs for this first hundred copies of Blackcat- after that, it's all up to us!

Blackcat will be published in the first week of December 2014 and will be available for pre-order via www.blackcatquarterly.com from October onwards.
