Honest Organics FOR EVERYONE

Hello beautiful humans!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my project idea. 

At the age of 22, fresh out of University and having spent 6 weeks at a health retreat in Australia, I started Honest Organics (May 2014). It is an incorporated company here in Christchurch. 

What is Honest Organics all about?

Honest Organics exists to provide humans with honestly healthy, on-the-go food, tailored to those with dietary challenges (diabetic, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, refined sugar free, paleo).  I want my business to benefit people and the planet along the way. I have donated money to Oxfam via Honest Organics and I am Conscious Consumer Accredited.  

My breakfast bowl pictured contains chia seeds hydrated in fair trade coconut milk, vanilla bean and rice milk, apricot sauce, chia seed berry jam, fresh/poached fruit, thick and creamy coconut yoghurt and Honest Organics paleo  Seed Cereal (maple cinnamon ginger flavour).  

Your contribution will help Honest Organics to create and sell beautiful chia seed products in New Zealand! 

The beauty of my product is there is nothing like it here in New Zealand. I have market tested my product at markets in Christchurch. My next steps are:

- new custom packaging

- testing with a food scientist to get nutritional panels

- surveys and interviews on my target market, channels, enablers and influencers 

- outsourcing production 

- design and branding

- growing chia seeds in NZ

- getting healthy chia seed bowls to all New Zealanders! Spreading the chia seed love
