We want to let our small business take flight! We need to raise some capital so that we can package more of our honey and keep our business thriving.
Our vision is a sustainable, ethical, thriving local honey producing and selling beekeeping business that can support our young family, and hopefully the families of others in the near future too. We want to get our business moving a bit faster so that we can give back to our local community, which has supported us so much already.
We have been running Hunt and Gather Bee Co. for two years now, but we are at the point where we need to give it a big shove, and package a big amount of honey so that we can roll our brand out into more stores and be able to put more of our time into the business. The only problem is that we have invested all of our money in the business already, and have run out of funds to package our next lot of honey in bulk which will be more cost effective than packaging small batches like we have been doing so far. With big stocks of honey behind us, we will be able to sell more, and hopefully support our family with our business.
If we reach our target, we will be able to buy around 10,000 glass jars, 30,000 paper labels, 3,000 cardboard cartons and pay for some of the cost of packing of our honey. If we raise more than our target, we would really like to get rid of the death machine quad bike with a tyre that has to be pumped up every two hours and a broken gear lever which we currently use to move our beehives. We would put any extra money towards a deposit on a side-by-side utility that would help keep us safe in the field.
If any of our rewards take your fancy, we would love your support. One of the biggest things you can do for us though, is to share our campaign with your social network and help us spread the word. Thank you so much for your help.

We are absolutely rapt that we are half way to our funding target! Thank-you so much everyone for your pledges. We still have quite a way to go so please share our campaign around and let's get over the line!!

Well, we are well into our campaign now, and with three weeks to go we are we are well over a third of the way to our target!
We are absolutely blown away by the support we have been receiving. Your generous pledges are exceeding our expectations and with each one we are a bit closer to our goal, and our dream of making Hunt and Gather Bee Co. a full time gig for us.
Rory promised that if we got past $4000 by today he would jump on the viral ‘In My Feelings’ video challenge that is going around. Head over to our Facebook page and check it out if you fancy a little giggle. If you have any suggestions for what we should do if we hit the $8000 by the end of next week, let us know!

Woah, we are so overwhelmed by the amazing pledges that are rolling in already. Thank-you all so much!
In exciting updates, if we manage to reach $4000 by the end of next week (the 5th of August) Rory has promised that he will do an In My Feelings dance in a full beesuit get up for you all to have a chuckle at. I'll be sure to post it here.
