I'm throwing a party to celebrate my 40th birthday - but I need your help.
In lieu of a birthday gift, or picking up the tab at a bar or restaurant, I'm inviting you to contribute to an exclusive, classy, and potentially debauched shindig in Grey Lynn on Saturday May 13 from 7pm to midnight.
You'll be helping me pay for room hire, a band, PA, DJs and gear, and _maybe_ even a laser. I'm afraid there will still be a cash bar, though.
For the party to go ahead, it'll need to reach the funding goal (I'm helping things along with an initial $500).
To attend you'll need to make a contribution of $15 or more.
100% of pledges received up to $2000 will be spent on the above and _maybe_ even another laser. Anything I'm fortunate enough to receive beyond that will go towards some kind of holiday. Via airplane? Sensory deprivation tank? Well, that depends.
I know this is a bit ridiculous. So's turning 40. Come be ridiculous with me.
