A recording of the political songs of the late Peter Conway - an amazing partner, dad, uncle, brother, comrade and good friend to so many and former Secretary of the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions - Te Kauae Kaimahi - who died suddenly in 2015. Peter was a highly respected and talented musician/song writer as well as leading trade unionist, economist and progressive intellectual who worked tirelessly for social and economic justice for all. His 'old' political band Not The Day Job will be augmented by a cast of many for this production to honour and remember Peter through recognition of his extraordinary musical and song writing talent. We’re aiming for a May Day 2017 (1st May) release, with the money raised in this campaign going towards covering all production costs. Any excess funds will go to the progressive causes Peter actively supported.
