The Picky Pullet
Young ones not eating their vegetables??
Snuggle up with them and share this little gem of a book - it might just do the trick!!
'The Picky Pullet' is the first of this series, with an aim to instill life's little lessons the fun way!!
It all starts with a little pullet (baby chicken) who, unlike their brothers and sisters, refuses to heed their mother's advice to eat their greens.
Quickly discovering the implications of being so picky, this little pullet sets out to rectify themselves immediately and in doing so, is rewarded for their decision - despite the peas being "so slimy and green!"
Check us out on Facebook and have a sneak peek of the book π
[No pullets were harmed during the making of this book]

About Us
Children's books these days are terrible.Β It's amazing what gets published.
Believing my sister-in-law (illustrator) and I (author) had created something different and believing that it would be snatched up in an instant, we were quite suprised to discover that we had been turned down, by every independent publisher in the country.
So here we are, putting it to the market and hoping that there are parents out there, who see the same value in it that we do.
If this is successful, we'll start moving to illustrate the next book in our series - 'The Selfish Shellfish' (see the 'Advance Sale' reward tier).Β This is the tale of a young paua that gets a bit too greedy and eats up all of the seaweed, before any of the others can get an opportunity, gets harvested first because of it and soon thereafter, finds itself all alone on the hot plate of a BBQ, getting fried up as a fritter).
