1st Gear Productions is taking the show AFFINITY to The Dark Room
in Palmerston North and The Basement in Auckland in July and August this year.
After a Sellout Season at Downstage Theatre in the 2013 Wellington Fringe where it won the Best Play Award, we are excited to be taking the play further afield.
Written and directed by Sarah Delahunty, this tense and surreal drama has a cast of four –
Neenah Dekkers-Reihana (nominated for Best Newcomer in the 2013 Chapman Trip Awards and recently seen in 2b or nt 2b and 4 Billion Likes! at Circa Theatre,
Sylvie McCreanor (2b or nt 2b)
Robbie Nicol (most recently acting in Edinburgh and Auckland)
Alex Ker – long time student of 1st Gear Productions.

Unfortunately, having a sell-out season does not mean huge amounts of money as it is a very intimate show which originally seated just over 20 people.
Also, despite positive feedback and attention, still it is hard to find funding to take the show elsewhere.
So, unless we get your support, we will be spending money we do not have to get our show on the road.
Our costs include:
-Transport (petrol money) from Wellington to Palmerston North and back
-Transport (petrol money) from Wellington to Auckland and back
-Accomodation in both Wellington and Palmerston North
-Publicity costs
-A Technician to set up and operate lights and sound for each venue
