Faux Arcadia (Supported By Gap Filler)

Faux Arcadia is a non profit art project based in Christchurch, supported by Gap Filler(Level 2 Project).
10 images(Including 5 Stereograms) from my MFA series Faux Arcadia will be printed large scale(3mx1.5m) on aluminium and mounted to the sides of selected buildings around the city. This project is intended for the viewing pleasure of the people in Christchurch and is my way, as an artist, of contributing to the rebuild.
My works are like illusory passageways into beautiful, otherworldly gardens of paradise, offering a means of escape from the hardship of living in a broken city and a sense of hope for a beautiful future. The works will be printed on aluminium, therefore will be weather durable, long lasting and could easily be relocated if necessary, like portable murals. The Stereograms will have a viewing position marked out to further engage the viewer and get the best 3D effect.
I would like to raise funds to cover the total print cost of 10 images for this project. You will receive a print from this series if you donate $500 and a signed, editioned print from this series if you donate $1000 plus your business logo on all advertising as a sponsor. Those who donate $20+ will receive a Faux Arcadia postcard.
