Collab Project with The Fairy Godmother

I'm a young Wellingtonian on a mission to support wonderful local artists, performers and other clever people, and help them put on events!

Attrition emerged from the experimental post-punk scene of the early 1980s and, along with other groups such as Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Einsturzende Neubauten, Nurse with Wound, The Legendary Pink Dots and In The Nursery, greatly contributed to the development of industrial music in the UK.  Still active 30 years later, Attrition have been a stanchion of darkwave and industrial music, influencing many younger bands in the genres while continuously fine tuning their own distinctive sound.  Attrition has featured on such notable labels as Projekt Records and the iconic Third Mind Records, also known for releases by artists such as Frontline Assembly, Will, Controlled Bleeding and Delerium.  

April 2013 marks the beginning of "The Unraveller of Angels" world tour by legendary UK act Attrition. 

HOWEVER-- In their 30+ years of existence, Attrition has NEVER once graced the shores of New Zealand! Attrition founder Martin Bowes would love to perform for us in New Zealand, especially in both Wellington and Christchurch. Unfortunately, as Attrition band members will be travelling from the UK, airfare is rather expensive. Myself and event promoter Cordelia Ann Black are wishing to raise enough funding to cover roundtrip airfare as well as reward costs-- $3500 NZD. Attrition are seeking no additional funding-- they really want to perform in New Zealand and see our beautiful country! This is a very rare (and possibly only) opportunity to see Attrition perform live in NZ!  

Any monies exceeding our target goal will go towards funding production costs for both an audio and video document of Attrition performing live in New Zealand!

Tentative dates for performances would be June 22nd and June 29th.

Downloads are available as MP3 320, FLAC or just about any other format you could possibly desire.  You will be asked which format you prefer and emailed a download link.

CDs, posters, vinyl and T-shirts will be delivered to you in person by Martin Bowes of Attrition at either the Wellington or Christchurch show-- provided we reach our goal.  This reduces the costs of shipping and allows us to keep our target amount as low as possible.

All pre-ordered tickets with your name will be emailed to you as a printable voucher prior to the performances.
