Project 2013-02-11 00:27:59 +1300

Kaleb (14 years) has been selected to represent NZ in the sport of speed stacking at the World championships in Florida USA 1 - 11 April 2013. He is currently placed 3rd overall in NZ and currently holds the overall NZ record for 3-6-3 at 2.380 seconds.  Kaleb has the potential to place in the top positions at the world champs. His personal best times resemble closely the world records and he keeps getting faster week by week as he strives to achieve his goal of becoming New Zealands first World record holder in Speedstacking.  To see Kaleb in action watch the above video and be amazed as we are.

WHAT IS SPEEDSTACKING????

Speed Stacking is a relatively new sport in NZ brought here in 2007. The object is to up and down stack 12 plastic cups in certain sequences as fast and accurate as possible. (www.speedstacks.co.nz) (http://newzealandblackstacks.wikispaces.com/). Speedstacking promotes self esteem, fitness, co-ordination and concentration as well as skills to better your academic learning, above all it is alot of fun.

COST

Approximate costing per representative has been quoted at $5000 this is for airfare, accommodation, registration fee, uniform, travel around Orlando and living costs. Due to short time restraints and our fundraising efforts not doing so well this year we have only currently raised about $1500. Your support is much appreciated and thank you for the opportunity to briefly advise on you on the sport of Speed Stacking.
