Racing for and promoting whiteribbon.org.nz or Women Against Violence

White Ribbon values are the same as my own.  Far too many New Zealand women are subjected to violence in society, communities and their homes. I am proud to promote their cause and thankful White Ribbon support me in my quest to become the most successful Kiwi motorcycle track racer since the famous Hugh Anderson won his world titles, Ivan Mauger ruled the worlds speedway tracks and Burt Munro rode the world’s fastest Indian

My name is Sam Croft, the current New Zealand 250cc Production Motorcycle Champion. I am 19 years old and fundraising to go to the 2013 European Junior Cup, a stepping stone and support class in the World Superbike Championship, the World Championships of production motorcycle racing.

I have won every national and regional championship I have competed in over the last 3 years, set the most pole positions in New Zealand National 250cc class and hold multiple lap records on tracks around New Zealand.

I am a mature and safe rider with a smooth easy style, instinctively making the right decisions naturally on the track. My success has been achieved on a shoe string budget with older machines. I am honest, trustworthy, drug free and reliable. I believe in myself and have the ability to do whatever it takes to win.

The 2013 Honda European Junior Cup (EJC) is a series for fourteen to nineteen year old riders taking place at eight rounds of the World Superbike Championship. The machinery is identical ensuring those with financial and technical resources are not favoured, promoting true talent to shine and giving me the chance I need to show the world that Kiwis really can fly. Mentoring by current Honda World Superbike rider Jonathan Rea and kiwi ex 500gp winner Simon Crafar, is also provided through the duration of the series

My long term goal is to become the first ever New Zealand World Superbike Champion. To achieve my goal, first I need to win the European Junior Cup. To compete this year will cost well over NZ $60,000. Its taken 2 years and we have raised about half of this but we need your support now.

I’m raising awareness for whiteribbon.org.nz the organisation dedicated to stopping violence against women in New Zealand. As my title sponsor they will have their logo and or message on my race gear, bike, and merchandise and face-book page. Additionally we want to produce a documentary type DVD and our website will contain the White Ribbon logo/message. We want maximum publicity for White Ribbon New Zealand.

The World Superbike Championship is one of the most popular motorsport events in the world today and is a good way to raise awareness of the White Ribbon New Zealand Campaign, to stop violence towards women. In 2011, The World Superbike Series achieved: A worldwide combined TV audience of 462 million: Live broadcasts on 95 TV networks covering 173 countries: 3,106 broadcast hours and approximately 1,000,000 race spectators

Please help me fly the Kiwi flag, show the world what talented New Zealanders can do and raise awareness for a good cause at the same time. Many thanks Sam Croft.
