Kia ora EVERYONE. 

I am so blown away by the generosity and positive messages we have been receiving throughout this entire period - we are so grateful  to you all.

It's been a wonderful and rewarding journey so far. Yesterday we supported the O'Loughlins in their test case against Tower. You might have seen that on the  TV One news. They are a wonderful couple and we wish them all the best. They are going to have an impact on all insurances in this country.

Theraze and I then went around to support another friend Jerry Larissa who was on a hunger struck outside the AIG building - against State. He'd been there since 4:30 am and had rigged up a covered trailer equipped so that he could sleep there. We sat with him for a while together with a TV camera man until the phone rang at around 11:am. It was State Insurance who wanted to discuss his case with him which had been going on for over a year....and he got settlement. So isn't that great. He achieved his goal... but had to go that extent to get it. 

If we go to trial - a Queens Counsel has got in touch with me . He wants to help us on a pro bono basis - so isn't that marvellous. Our lawyer knows him so that was a piece of good news for us as he is well known as a great and affective QC. I am not at liberty to say his name as he will only be called on should we go to trial which can't happen until late May - and hopefully we will be settled out of court before then.

I had a meeting with the Brooklands Stayers group - with people who are staying regardless of what the government says. They are staying full stop!!! And they have a right to do so. Roger Sutton the CEO for CERA has stated that the government offer doesn't have to be taken up so ... they have decided not to take it up... at their risk.. which they are happy to do... and I wish them ll the best... because I'mm going. Don't know where to as we haven't got any money ... yet.... so we don't know what we can buy.... and that's what we're in court for. AMI say they have the right to only give us repair costs for our two storeyed 4 bedroomed home with attached car port and two car garage. Their amount is below $300,000. Our dispute is in the fact that their repair costs are far too unreal and it will be uneconomic to repair in the area we are in as it is a red zone. 

We have to get out by July 31st by law. 

In real terms our house will cost over $900,000 to replace/rebuild and according to our lawyer, to repair our home will be uneconomically not viable. In that case then our house has to be rebuilt to the amount stated by the specialist who built it and designed it. He has provided detailed figures on the like for like costs to rebuild it on the present day market. The house is around 17 years old.

This is our home, the largest investment Theraze and I have made and naturally we want to protect it.

He has an understanding and academic curiosity about the functional realities of curses which he comes to believe are the cause of the unusual illnesses and deaths and which threatens your immediate family. The race is on to reverse the curse. The book title is Waiata Korimako - Songs of a Bellbird.

You will also be featured in the acknowledgements. 

I aim to complete it for the  Xmas market.
