Well hello!

My name is Naomi Cohen and I am one of the 16 incredibly privelidged individuals who has been accepted into The Actors' Program 2013 intake.

After three years at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts, I have found what I truly love to do and I am so fortunate to have the chance to continue to improve my craft and really solidify the foundations of a promising career in the performing arts.

The Actors' Program focuses on the various aspects of acting ranging from movement to voice to screen acting and is run by industry professionals who are some of the most passionate people I have ever met. They truly believe in the program and the work that their students are doing.

Unfortunately because The Actors' Program is so new to the scene, it is not yet NZQA approved.

Because of this I am unable to apply for a student loan to help me with the course fees

that amount to a grand total of $13,685 ($11,900 + GST).

Obviously I can't do this on my own, which is why I am having to write this now. I need your support. Having only finished my degree just shy of two weeks ago, I have been unable to work full time to help me raise this large sum.

All I am saying is that you can help out for only about the price of a cup of coffee!

Any amount is simply incredible and will ensure my place in The Actors' Program and in the NZ performing arts community.

I am only trying to raise a small portion of this fee as a starting point, so even a little goes a long way!
