Fatimih Linz Photography Exhibition
Project 2020-01-28 14:49:10 +1300
Fatimih Linz and I got married this year on the 24th of January 2020. We first met in Kashmir 2009, and at the time she was an aspiring photographer. A long time has passed since then, and 'life' got in the way of her reaching her dreams. As a wedding present I have selected 18 of her best photos and had them printed. I have also organised the work to be exhibited at Creative Arts Napier, an exhibition space in Napier. Now, with your help, I would like to get the work framed and have Fatimih Linz realise her lifelong dream of having her photography exhibited. These photos were taken in New York, India, Pakistan, and Syria, they really are amazing photos that really show humanity, and the diversity that this world offers.
The theme of this series of photos is Humanity-"Unseen Faces". The photos show the humanity of people across the globe, and in all strata of society, to help raise awareness toward the beauty in all human beings.
40% of the proceeds from this exhibition will go to 'Odanadi', an NGO in the South of India dedicated towards the rehabilitation of those humans rescued from Human Trafficking.
The money from your donations will go toward the framing of the photos ($2319), and the cost of the exhibition space ($550). The rest goes to the "Pledge Me" fee.
The exhibition will run from the 27th March through to the 23rd of April at the Creative Arts Napier exhibition space in Napier. The opening will be held on the evening of 27th of March, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Donate now, and lets get Fatimih's work out to the world.
