This year I am going further into producing and directing it and am calling a group of like minded artists, musicians and performers together and focusing us on a theme. I hope this to be an open plan/collaborative time that all can add their genius and inspiration into while still staying within an interconnected space. As such I have written a few words to follow as a guide.

A performance and a ceremony.
For the world and for ourselves.

This will be a collaboration between musicians, artists and performers following the theme ‘Awakening from the dream’. We will gather on morning of 12.12.12 and create a 12 min performance together that we will film in the daytime and later that day in the dark (with lights) and these two performances will be edited together into one piece by Pheye Creative.

We will be recording the sound multi channel directly to pro tools (computer) and will be filming with at least four cameras. I envision this to be a space of creativity that is both light and playful while at the same time being present with a sense of depth and the interconnectedness of all life and time.

I imagine creating a stage/set that expresses sacred geometric, naturally artistic and playfully ceremonial ideas (whew)

Jamming some ideas into a script/storyboard.

Practicing it a bit (not much, so there is room for spontaneity : )

Then filming/recording it with as much hilarity, fun, awareness, fidelity/ audio channels and camera angles as possible (and that flow easily) ; )

I am writing this in the midst of the eclipse, I just went out and carefully quickly saw that the sun had a moon size bite out of it ...WOW So, with that energy of transformation and alignment I send you this and hope it lands on fertile ground and you are keen to help me edit it into a masterpiece. : ) J
