A miserly bachelor gets more than he bargained for when he enters into an arranged marriage!
This is the premise for Donizetti's comedic opera Don Pasquale. Wanderlust Opera has been touring to small towns and cities around New Zealand for much of 2019 and can no longer ignore the (constant) requests to bring the show to the capital. So, Wellington, we're coming!! But we need to know that you will be there (physically, mentally, spiritually, financially) to support us.
Please consider making a donation towards our expenses including venue hire, marketing, costuming, and of course, most importantly, paying the wonderful musicians and creatives that make up our Wanderlust family. We want to be creating magical, hilarious, affordable operas for many years to come. We are here to play the long game.

To our amazing pledgers, we are so thrilled to have your support and to have you as audience members! Our Thursday 5 December performance is filing up FAST (as we are also seling tickets via eventfinda). So please, if you want your ticket / tickets for a particular performance, let me know and I will secure you a seat. Your ticket will then be emailed to you after November 29, which is when our pledgeme campaign finishes. Email [email protected] with your ticketing requests.
In addition, you all have been very financially savvy - so encourage your friends to donate $35 to this campaign in exchange for a ticket; if they purchase via eventfinda the price is $39 + ticketing fees, so it's really worth getting organised early.
Once again, THANK YOU for your contribution - here's to the future of affordable opera in NZ!
