Who am I?

Hi! My name is David Dodsworth and I'm a "Music Maker".I use the name Dave Willaims for my music. I am based in Auckland North. I Play finger style Bluesy, Electric guitar, reflective, therapeutic, chill out Insrumental Music. 

Genre: Instrumental-Blues-Guitar-Bluesy-Rock Guitar-British Blues-Jazz &Swing

Finger Picking Style-Guitar-Therapy.

I'm 65+ years old and have had careers in Electronic Design, Computer Aided Design & Consullting, and more recently as an active community member and owner(13 years) of a famouse Cafe, "The Puhoi Cottage TeaRooms", in the little historical village of Puhoi.

I have played Guitar since I was about 10 and notably it was in Puhoi that I composed my first Tune, "The Puhoi River Blues" which has its own story.      

Since then and my retirement I have recorded some 40+ tunes 

Okay, cool, but what's this all about?

Just over a year ago I started creating some music video's and posting them to my social media channels. I was pleasantly surprised by the feedback that I got.(2.7k Facebook Likes). It showed that people enjoyed watching and listening to my music and posed the question, being raised by the response I was getting. "How should I preserve my music for the future?" The more I thought about this, the more I thought about taking my music more seriously and publishing professionally 3 E.P's and an Album as a legacy, ensuring that My Music could be shared globally and is never lost. So that is now my life GOAL.
