Trusts Action Group Elections 2019 - Choice, Transparency, Democracy

Project 2019-08-07 19:52:57 +1200

We're running a set of candidates in the upcoming elections for the Waitakere and Portage Licensing Trusts (in West Auckland) on a platform of choice, transparency and democracy. We want West Auckland to grow and prosper and we'll give you the opportunity to vote on the licensing trust monopoly.

Find out about our candidates here: https://trustsaction.org.nz/candidates/

And our policies here: https://trustsaction.org.nz/our-policies/

We're planning to spend $6K minimum on our campaign and our candidates are chipping half of that from our own pockets. If we get more donations than our target, then we'll scale-up our campaign!

By law, all donations to election campaigns must be collated by the candidate in a report to the Auckland Regional Council. You are welcome to click 'anonymous donation' when you pledge so that your name is not listed on the public PledgeMe campaign page. However, please be aware that PledgeMe will report all pledges to a candidate's campaign for inclusion in the candidate's report to the Auckland Council.

NB - Donations over $1,500 from any one individual will be declared to the electoral office to meet local body election disclosure requirements.
