Poneke Toa Under 12 Trip To New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival, September 2019

The Poneke Toa under 12 Rugby team from Wellington is raising money to play in a junior rugby tournament in Taupo in September, 2019. Completed and planned fundraising will raise about 75% of the total financial needed, but we are still $1500 short of being able to cover the costs. These include tournament entry, transport and accomodation, food and safety gear. The team, parents and supporters have been hard at it fundraising: selling Whitakers chocolate bars, organising a quiz night, a movie screening, selling raffle tickets and holding a sasuage sizzle. This is a plucky wee team that always tries its hardest. This tournament is a great bonding opportunity for them, and they want to get there and make the Poneke Club proud. All and any contributions would be really appreciated by the boys and their families.
