The Wellington Fringe Festival is an open-access festival held every summer involving a wide range of shows across all artforms in venues throughout the city.

Help get Improsaurus to Wellington!

Being the best (and only) improvisation troupe in Dunedin is a lonely existence. So, we have decided to make the journey up to the big smoke of Wellington for the 2013 Fringe Festival. Unfortunately, as a team of students, young artists and graduates we are struggling to put together the money to pay for our flights and production costs. This is where you come in. Help us out by pledging as much or as little as you like and we will reward you tremendously.

Who We Are

Improsaurus is a Dunedin improvisation troupe, founded and run entirely by under 25s. We run a regular show at Dunedin's Fortune Theatre and have established a great reputation with the Dunedin public. As well as shows we do a lot in the Dunedin community, such as working with the Otago Museum, running workshops at the Circulation Festival and participating in Relay for Life.

Since Improsaurus was established in 2009, it has grown and developed enormously. Our specialty is our own original brand of long form improv, and fresh, innovative formats developed by the troupe each fortnight. The show we are taking to Wellington is called "The Green Room", one of our most challenging formats yet.
