About

Our Waiuku Store Is On The Move!

Project 2019-04-03 21:10:51 +1300

Turns out, moving eco friendly awesomeness to a bigger space is super expensive! We need your help to pay the bills so we can get on with bringing more goodness to our community.

We have moved from our tiny store to a much larger, super awesome space next door.

Originally we thought this would be a little bit of hard work, and not too costly... however...

We were wrong :-(

Our plan is to have the largest selection of organic goodness in our community, paired with being sustainable, eco friendly and offering more employment opportunities too.

A little about us:

We are Karl & Steph, together we opened up the first Goodness Grocer in 2013 and then our second store in 2015. We live locally in Franklin, we have a small block of land with a super old house on it and a garden that to be honest, is rather negleted. We are beyond passionate about what we do, not just with running the stores, but with ensuring we can help our community at every possible opportunity. We have teamed up with our local Police to reward good drivers, we've help arrange native tree plantings and help with whitebait restoration on the Waikato River, we sponsor many local projects and have recently won an award at the first NZ Zero Waste Awards.

Funds are needed for:

There's a bunch of money we need to spend to grow bigger, so any help now will ensure we can continue to expand, offer more products, sort out all the bulk goods, new chillers and much more goodness will follow.

Our main costs that we need to cover are things like the new shelving/bulk bins ($3,000), security systems ($2,000), purchasing bulk goods ($5,000), and if we are super lucky and get lots of pledges, we would love a new fruit & vege chiller ($10,000+).

Cool rewards for everyone!

We have our very first edition of eco-as products, just for this pledge me campaign. The eco-as range is from our sister company, which will be also growing to bring you more super cool eco-as stuff, without the flash packaging, so it's a little cheaper than the fancy pants packaging with other brands, but just as awesome!

Also on the list, is some stunning hand crafted pottery keep cups (dishwasher safe), using our very own local sands in the mix.

All rewards will need to be collected from our Waiuku or Pukekohe stores once the pledge has finished. Please message us via email [email protected] or via our FB page if you require shipping, as we may be able to arrange something.

Thank you!
