About

Beautifully Scarred - A Book Of Hope

Project 2018-03-05 11:05:59 +1300

Beautifully scarred will be a beautiful coffee table book that is filled with amazing stories & beautiful photographs of strong, beautiful, inspiring and warm-hearted women of New Zealand. They are women who have been through some form of trauma, domestic violence, illnesses, accidents, tough childhoods and more but are now living a life filled with happiness and love for all that's around them, but more importantly, love for themselves.

They are women, who one day, made a decision to not be a victim of that time, that rocky road that life can sometimes bring. They decided to not let that time hold them hostage in their own life and realised there was so much more goodness in life for them.

I believe, their stories will help heal others who are going through a similar situation and one that will give them hope that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

So far I have approx. 40 women who have shared their stories with me and would love to be included in 'Beautifully Scarred' in the hope their story inspires and gives hope to others who may be experiencing a similar situation.

So if you believe this personal project of mine could make a difference, I would love you to jump on board and make a pledge to help bring this book to life. Also if you could share this campaign with everyone you know, I would be so grateful.

I was invited to The Cafe

26/04/2018 at 10:52 AM

This week has been a big week.

Being invited to be interviewed on The Cafe was another amazing experience to share my story, talk about Beautifully Scarred and spread the word that little bit further.

I'm so grateful for all the support in spreading the word I have received.

4 DAYS LEFT.

Thank you so much to each and eveyone of you who have supported me, for making a pledge, for believing in my project. It means the world to me.

Thank you Newshub

24/04/2018 at 4:25 PM

I had an amazing opportunity to be interview by Wilhelmina Shrimpton from Newshub last week. Sharing a bit about my own story, having Tracy Manu share your journey and talking about Beautifully Scarred.

It was my first time on TV, so a little nervous to say the least, but what a great way to share the message and spread the word.

We are getting so close to the deadline, my heart is racing :) I still have just as much excitement in me as I did when I first put it out there.

Want to be able to take good photos of your kids at home? Now you can.

04/04/2018 at 10:22 PM

Want to be able to take good photos of your kids at home?
Do you own a nice camera and unsure how it all works?

Well now you can learn at your own pace, with my pre-recorded videos that will take you step by step through
'How to photograph your kids at home' which I've made available as one of the rewards here on my Pledge Me campaign.

Over the years I've had so many messages & emails with people saying they'd love to learn how to photograph their kids at home.

Many have said, "My kids just won't sit still for a good photo",
Or "My photos always come out all dark or too light"....

As a mum of four, I totally understand, it can be tricky to get your kids to listen to you at the best of time, let a lone when you have a camera in hand.

Just 26 Days left to reach the Pledge Me target.
So so thankful to everyone who has already pledge and raised $4,690 so far.

Here are a few photos of my own kids at home...You too can learn to take photos just like these of your own kids and capture their childhood.
