She made her debut as a singer in 1983. 3 years later, she was selected as the theme song singer in one of the Hayao Miyazaki  films, "Laputa: Castle in the sky" - which gave her the first national recognition. Over the following years, she sang numbers of anime theme songs including "My Neighbour Totoro (Tonari no Totoro)", "Stroll (Sanpo)", "A Lost Child (Maigo)" etc.

---Profile of Yuyu---

Yuyu, a daughter of Azumi Inoue made her debut as a singer in 2012. She has performed in many countries with her mother such as China, Taiwan, Russia, France, and America and her annual family concerts with her mother all around Japan became popular and now they have become everyone's favourite of all ages as family fun concerts.
