Faction - Comic Anthology

If you're a comic artist in New Zealand, getting your work seen isn't always easy! 

That's why we're launching a brand new comic anthology called Faction, which we intend to release twice a year. Our aim is to showcase some of the spectacular comic art that is produced in New Zealand – both to markets here and overseas.

At the same time, we want to build up a guaranteed audience for kiwi comic artists, by growing a database of readers for Faction, so that as we move forward, each issue has more and more readers. 

To do this, we'll be giving away the digital version of Faction (perfect for the iPad and other tablets, but also readable on your computer) for free! All you need to do is subscribe on our website - and you can read each and every issue at no charge! 

We will also create a print version - for people who like their comics hard, and to help market the online version. In addition, we plan to market it with fliers and posters. That's why we need your support - to pay for our print costs - so we can get this beautiful looking comic out to as many people as possible!

Thanks to you, we reached our target on PledgeMe! Yay!!

Thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot. We'll start organising and sending out our rewards over the next month, so we'll be in touch with you individually to grab adresses and suchnot. Some items may take longer to get out to you, but we promise, we will get there in the end. 

In the meantime, thanks to you, Faction is off to the printers - and it's looking AMAZING! We can't wait for you all to see it - you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for all your pledges so far! And to celebrate, we've created a new reward...

Get a original sketch of yourself as a superhero! Just supply comic artist,Damon Keen with a photo of yourself, and he'll turn you into a superhero. 

(The sketch with be on A4 paper, and may take a few weeks to be completed following the successful completion of the PledgeMe campaign.)
