25/7/17 update: THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the pledgers who helped me reach my target in less than two weeks! I'll be posting out over 150 books to pledgers, inluding some in Japan, Australia and the USA! So everyone can receive their books sooner, I've shortened my campaign to end August 9th (was August 16th). Until then, people can still obtain copies of 'Hot Springs of New Zealand' at the discounted price on PledgeMe :)
- This fully-revised edition of my guidebook ‘Hot Springs of New Zealand’ features over 100 hot springs and is in full colour, on high-quality paper.
- Fans of elusive hot springs are provided with GPS coordinates, map references and the detailed directions needed to find them (there are a lot more hot springs in the South Island than most people realise!).
- In lieu of a book-launch, I’m promoting and pre-selling signed copies through Pledgeme (free shipping for domestic sales). Copies are also available at www.hotspringsofnz.nz (along with more information).
- Pledgers will have opportunities to receive signed copies of the book, along with an emailed map-file containing GPS coordinates for 50 of New Zealand's free hot springs (opens in Google Earth).
- For larger Pledgers, I’ll also be offering to design hot spring itineraries and I'll take some of the largest Pledgers on an exclusive day-trip to visit six of my favourite free hot springs around Rotorua and Taupo.
- I’ve written four other hot springs guidebooks but this my first foray into self-publishing (I chose to have the book printed in New Zealand by Caxton Press).
- Previous editions of this guidebook are being listed on Amazon for US$2000 in the USA and 327 pounds in England (12/7/17).
- I promise this book will help you get into a whole lot of hot water!

On Monday and Tuesday I spent over $600 on postage at the Turangi post office and now all of your books are en route! (except for a few where their payment has yet to be processed)

My 'Hot Springs of New Zealand' guidebook campaign received it's 100th pledge today and I'm getting very close to reaching my $5000 goal!
Thanks so much for helping make this such a successful campaign. I'm looking forward to sending out the books as soon as the campaign closes.
