Nick Dow - Debut Album

Ever since I left high school, my dream has been to record a professional album. For five years I have been doing everything musically but that, playing various styles with a lot of talented people, in both Christchurch and Auckland. Having just graduated, it is time to make good on the investment on great learning experiences I have been fortunate to have.
This will be a team effort involving collaborations with other song writers, playing with other musicians and working with recording professionals. It is a huge undertaking, and I don’t mind admitting I am a little bit daunted by it. But to be able to finally release an album of musical ideas that have been brewing for most of my life will be so rewarding, and hopefully provide some enjoyment and stimulation to my audience.
The cost of this project, including recording, producing, paying the amazing musicians who will help me, and promoting the finished product, will be at least $20,000. So I’m looking to raise $8,500 of this via this PledgeMe request. The studio is booked in Christchurch with the great Ben Edwards and commences July 10th-26th.
If you can help me in some way towards reaching this dream of mine, I will be forever greatful.

Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't been taking advantage of this pledgeme update page. Have been keeping most people updated on facebook, however for those that don't have it or are not connected with me, I just want to thank you again for all your help! The funding has taken a massive load off my back, but I can promise you it has still been hard work.
As of Wednesday last week the recording process was completed and now I have the whole album roughly mixed. This is unfortunately still early in this process, and so It's looking like I won't be able to promise the final product until early 2018. Once I have confirmed the date you will be the first to know.
Another thing, most of you are due to get rewards for your donations. These are still to come, but if you don't mind being patient a little longer, so that I don't have to send postage twice along with the physical copies of the album, I'd be super grateful. By no means will I forget you.
I cannot wait to share this creation with you. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears out for some bonuses I will be sharing over the coming months.
