Fresh from winning the National Scribe With Us song competition and his 2012 Local
Hero award for his ongoing anti-pokies campaign, Darci Goldsworthy (AKA Da'C) is heading back to the studio in order to get his music and messages out to the people who matter most: his supporters, his whanau and his friends.
By investing just $25 you’ll become part of the EP project whanau and receive a signed copy of the CD/EP on completion. Those contributing $100 or more will also have their name included in the CD credits if they so choose.
This will be his first solo body of work, previously collaborating with his brother in the rap crew Def Dealaz. He has 10 songs ready and waiting for Munki Studios to to record, mix and master to their proffesional standards.
Darci will need every cent of the $3750 he's asking for to firstly get to Wellington from Nelson to record, then for production and finally for the signed copies which will be given to Pledgers.
He aims to have the By The People, For The People EP ready for fans to download by Christmas.

With just 11 days left to reach the goal of $3750.00 I need your help to find enough pledgers to get there. I'm sure most of you are aware but i'll remind you anyway, if we don't make the target none of the money already pledged will be forwarded to me to record my EP - so get sharing the link to this page, and let everyone know what a great investment it will be!

This is my first time using crowd-sourced funding and it's going really well, thank you so much to everyone who has pledged, and to everyone who has shared the link on facebook and twitter etc. This EP will be called 'By The People, For The People' and it is certainly living up to the name.
