Tamariki Tākaro- Creating World Leading Te Reo Maori Content For Kids On YouTube!

We create te reo Māori (Māori language) content of toy unboxings exclusively for YouTube.
The inspiration for this, was our te reo Māori speaking daughter (4) who likes to watch these types of videos. The problem for us, was that there were none in te reo Māori.
After searching on YouTube, we found there is very little te reo Māori content that is appropriate for her age.
To our surprise, we found that there was actually very little in other indigenous languages of this type either.
With this in mind, we made the decision to make these videos ourselves! We discovered that these types of videos (in te reo Māori) are the first of its kind.
We decided to share these videos with other tamariki (children) and whānau (families) via YouTube and Facebook. We have received a fantastic response to these videos!

Yesterday we got to spend time with this awesome guy - Matua Piripi Walker!
We are so lucky to have him on board here at Tamariki Tākaro. Matua Piripi oversees the reo that we use in our videos to ensure that it's top quality for your tamariki
