My name is Glen Prentice and I am a fashion design graduate. I will be taking part in the graduate working visa for the USA in order to gain international industry experience in New York city through internships and any related work I can get my hands on.

What you can help me achieve!

I have been saving to pay for my visa, flights and insurance, however as fashion internships are unpaid, it is crucial I cover all my costs. I am campaigning with PledgeMe in order to raise money to allow me to cover setting up a living situation in New York, so that means paying for move in costs of bond and weeks in advance. This is an incredibly important part in me being able to gain experience in one of the worlds greatest fashion capitals.

Crazy! Crazy Crazy!

I can't believe there is only 7 days left!

I'm only half way so it's hard to say what's going to happen, but I want to thank everyone who has pledged so far.

The support has been amazing, and means so much on its own.

I've been super busy working on this new mini collection which I'm presenting in a group show on the day that my PledgeMe project finishes.

Some information to fill you guys in on the NYC front... Today I confirmed my internship with New York womenswear label VPL! I'll be starting with them on the 12th of November!! So excited! I had had an extremely positive interview with the head-designer who is so excited to work with me, so it's looking great!

I'm also working on a small collection when I'm not at work to bump up my portfolio before I go!! So it's all busy on my end - therefore thanks to all of you for helping me out, it means so much!
