**Support an emerging artist run initiative by pre-ordering our first publication!**

Dear friend and / or associate, 

MEANWHILE is a brand new artist-run initiative based in Wellington, New Zealand.  

Since moving into an empty office building in the Wellington CBD, we’ve put on five exhibitions in our window space, hosted nine artists in our studios, and we've built a gallery. We’d like to share some of this work with you.

We’re making a publication to document the short time that we’ve been here so far. Through photographs, writing and exhibition ephemera, we will communicate what went into the first few months of MEANWHILE. This is our origin story.

This publication will be launched on the 30th of November, at the opening night of the first exhibition in our completed gallery space, the next chapter of this story.

We are seeking support for funding towards the design, printing, and publication of this book. $1000 will make 200 copies. Any money raised beyond that will be used to make a better publication – by using higher quality stock, commissioning new texts, and compensating photographers.

We have a great team involved in making this book happen, and some really excellent rewards for pledgers. Please feel free to share this project with anyone you think might be interested.
