New Brighton Spring Music Festival
12 November 2016 - Uplifting & Strengthening Event
Come on over to the Beachside!
Having this Event in New Brighton really means a lot to the Community. Uplifting and Strengthening our community - showing what New Brighton has to offer. It brings people together for a fun day out, making new friends. We've been through some tough stuff after the earthquakes and this continues still but events like this help to bring people together and this is what it's for. The money made from the New Brighton Spring Music Festival will go towards Sound & Stage, St Johns Ambulance & Staff for the day, Toilets etc and carrying on this event next year.
$10 for adults and $20 for families for the full day (11am to 7pm). Can come and go as you please (but I don't think you'll want to). There will be reasonably priced foodies there on the day.
As well as bands playing on the day there will be children's entertainment - Bouncy castles, face painting, acrobatics (get the kids to have a go, adults too!), raffles, spot prizes etc.

Last year my awesome headliners Written by Wolves were brought down from Auckland and they rocked the crowd at the end of the day. I would love to have these guys back again and with the help of this Pledge Me it might happen. They were a total hit with everyone getting the kids up on stage to sing with them, staying behind for photos and chatting, they were brilliant.
There were 13 other local bands and they were amazing - great people and great music. With rock, reggae, cover bands etc - a great mix for everyone as well as children's events and foodies.

Face Painting by Magenta was brilliant - she's such a talented artist

Thank you to all of you who pledged for this great event. I can't wait and am very excited to bring it again this year. Although I've done it by myself again which proved very hard - it's almost up and ready to rock and roll. So keep an eye on the Facebook page and keep updated on where I'm at with it. Having had to lower the Target as the Pledges seem to have come to a standstill. Please be assured you will get your Rewards. Keep sharing this page for this to happen. Working on the bands, children's events and foodies at present. Lots of great things for the children to do.
