My goal is to spread good vibes by teaming up with a charity or charities or community group(s) in search of a nifty fund raising idea. I’m a thinker by nature, a writer by nurture and marketer by, well, I’ve zero marketing skills, and that’s why I’ve chosen to gift The Lighthouse Calendar of Hope at cost to someone who does. PledgeMe is a chance to get going - one thing leads to another, and good things will happen. In these troubled times, with oil and gas leaking, wild places and climate changing, and the ground and finances shaking, some may find rays of hope in this reminder of how buoyant we can be, if only we find a reason to believe, for hope is an antidote to worry, and without hope, gloom and lethargy reign, yet with a belief in the possibility of a better future, comes a desire to work towards it. My professionally printed A3 size calendar has twelve photos of New Zealand lighthouses from Cape Reinga to Bluff and isolated, surprising places in between, accompanied by hope-filled verses. I firmly and passionately believe that my quirky and upbeat calendar offers a timely light of hope in these tense, unstable times, and would truly love to give it away to you at cost, as your next charity fund raiser or for a Christmas gift. The $7000 target covers the three Ps: printing, packaging and postage. Let’s find a reason to believe, for hope is an antidote to worry, and without hope, gloom and lethargy reign, yet with a belief in the possibility of a better future, comes a desire to work towards it. Let’s beam hope out to our beautiful world and its people. Many thanks.
