Hi i'm Mitch CEO of "EduCulture" a Young Enterprise company that designs and promotes children's story books, Our first lot of books is the "Kahu The Kakapo" series

The story follows the travels of our character “Kahu the Kakapo.” The first edition of our book is titled “Kahu the Kakapo goes to New Zealand”, and we hope to follow on with books where Kahu goes to other destinations such as Australia, France and Japan. Our aim with these books is to improve the cultural awareness of young New Zealand children in an enjoyable way.

Jono Brent, our business mentor has put us in touch with Rainbow Print NZ who have been very helpful with finding out where we are at and have agreed to print our book as we already have a completed storyline and illustrations.

Within our Young Enterprise group two members are employees with the Warehouse and they have agreed to assist us in promoting our books to potential buyers. From this we are hoping that eventually our books will be sold in the Warehouse all throughout the country.

Another option that we have explored is the idea of selling exclusively to popular tourist attractions, some of which Kahu may visit himself. This would be an ideal way to open up our business to the international market.

Rainbow Print has told us that for our book to be published we will need around $7950 to cover all the costs involved. At this stage we are going through the production phase so now all we need is the finances to fund us. This is something that we are all very passionate about and we believe that with your help we can run a highly profitable and beneficial business.

Books by EduCulture are FUN, SMART and very KIWI!
