 JustSpeak is going to be holding its first ever camp this September!

It will be a unique camp by and for people interested in learning about justice issues and developing skills to advocate for a better justice system. There will be a mashup of different interests, backgrounds and opinions.

We'll have some stuff planned, there'll be a powhiri, and a reception, and some cool people coming in to support the kaupapa, but with a free form attitude the programme will pretty much be decided by the people who come along - from break dancing to bail law reform

We want to make it free to attend so that cost isn't a barrier to young people attending.

So we need your help to raise $4000

The Nitty Gritty....

When: Friday 21 - Sunday 23 September 2012

Where: Tapu Te Ranga Marae, Island Bay, Wellington

Who: We're targetting 16-30 year olds who'll bring an interest, experiences, ideas and energy!

What'll it cost: Accomodation and food will be provided at the marae. And we're just asking for a koha based on what attendees can afford. We will also be providing some travel grants for non-Wellingtonians that need some help getting to the camp.

JustSpeak is a non-partisan network of young people speaking to, and speaking up for a new generation of thinkers who want change in our criminal justice system.

The organising committee are a bunch of young people who are passionate about creating a more just Aotearoa!
