An Artful Adventure (Eat, Paint, Love)

I am taking a leap of faith with intent. I am going to spend 60 days in Ubud, Bali to immerse myself in a creative scene. My intention is to spend most of that time attending art classes to learn painting techniques, processes of application and the use of mixed media to create interesting and beautiful pieces.
Why Bali? It is a cost effective - not to mention inspiring - place to immerse oneself in the creative process. After a fairly tumultuous time, I will be welcoming the much-needed balm of a slower pace of life. I would like to clarify that while yes, this will be a time of rest, it is more in a restorative and redirective context. This is not about having a holiday, this is about establishing the new direction I want my life to take.
I have always been very artistic but haven't manifested these talents in this way for many years. Circumstances of life are now prompting me to do so. I have recently begun painting and have sold several pieces which has galvanised me into action. I want this to be my future.
Upon my return to NZ I would love to live my life simply and mindfully and create beautiful pieces of art as my primary income.
The amount I am requesting should cover my airfares, accomodation and tuition during the 2 months I will be away.
