Hi! I'm Jessica Bland and I'm a solo musician-singer/songwriter from Auckland, NZ. I play chilled-out pop-acoustic music with a country twist. Music has always played a huge part in my life from the age of 5. I've always loved how the artist absorb the listener into what they're saying through lyrics. I started writing songs at age 12 and taught myself guitar around the same time; I just picked up the guitar & figured out a few chords and was on my way. Over this last year, I have discovered who I am and where I stand as a musician. In these past few months, I have realised that Uni's not really my thing but music has always been my thing so I'd love to pursue a career in music. I have decided to start this career path off by recording my first EP. I still think that the best part of music is how it unites the artist with its listeners through the lyrics. My ultimate dream is to show people my stories and help people get through their hardships through the things I've experienced throughout my life.

HELP ME MAKE MY DEBUT EP! I'm recording my debut EP and would love for you to be a part of it! I have a song book full of songs and I'm ready to get in the studio and have them recorded to share them with you guys!

I'm fundraising to make my first EP which all up at discount price will be $6000, to help with the recording, mastering, producing and to be able to buy an acoustic-electric guitar & loop pedal so I'd be able to make it :-) I'm still on the lookout for a good producer and sound engineer that suits the kind of sound and atmosphere that I'm trying to portray to my listeners. I'm not just gonna take this money I'm gonna put at least $1000 in myself and the more money the better quality it will be :-) so please help a small-town girl's dreams come true Love Jess xx
